St. Charles is the historic heart of the Tri-Cities — around 33,000 residents built along both banks of the Fox River. The city has three distinct character zones: the historic downtown (Hotel Baker, the 3rd Street shopping district, Pottawatomie Park), the riverfront residential corridor along Riverside Drive, and the larger estate neighborhoods north of Route 64.
The homes range from genuine pre-war craftsmans downtown with their original woodwork and built-ins, to mid-century riverfront homes with views of the Fox, to the newer estates and country club homes off Crane Road and out toward Wild Rose. Each kind of home needs a different approach — and a team that knows which.
